The Sainte-Suzanne site of multiple activities to playfully cover its site. To understand the history of its castle, specially adapted routes, investigations, games and activities are organised. Discover the Centre d’Interprétation de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine ; a permanent exhibition space that also provides visitors with documentation areas. Temporary exhibitions highlight certain aspects of the area. It is also a place to meet and talk, and for events Visits are adapted to your needs, with tactile models and modules, sensory approaches, adapted walkways, a magnetic loop in the reception area and transcribed audio commentaries in the conference room. You will also be able to view models, thermo-inflated documents … . |

2/ Visit to the departmental archaeological museum in JublainsTake a trip back in time to the ancient era of Jublains, and immerse yourself in the Gallo-Roman era of the West with its many remains, its museum and its fortress. Discover this incredible archaeological site, taking you to the heart of Gallo-Roman history. In addition, the museum features an exhibition of archaeological collections from the Mayenne and the Bronze Age to the Early Middle Ages. To know : Labelled Tourism and Disability, the museum and fortress welcome you in the best possible circumstances and is labelled for the four disabilities : hearing, visual, mental, motor. 2/ Pêche at the water level of the Orignécurve.Pêchez for fun ! Based on the practice of No-Kill (consisting of systematically releasing one's catch), the site of the Courbe lake is an old gradient and is ideal for Blackbass, a fish not often seen in Mayenne. Measures based on respect for fish and the environment have been put in place. Management is based on the biology of the species, with a closure period timed to coincide with its breeding season, i.e. from 1 April to 30 June.
