The holiday cottage is a new, bright, comfortable and well-insulated property. On the ground floor, there is a large 71m² living area, comprising a fitted kitchen and a lounge area with a TV. A pellet stove adds to the cosy atmosphere. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms with soft, harmonious décor, each with its own en-suite bathroom (shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet). You can choose between two bedrooms, each with a 160×200 bed, and one bedroom with three 90×190 beds.
Running the length of the house is a large terrace, a car park and a lawn area with fruit trees (pears, plums). The terrace is equipped with garden furniture, a barbecue (charcoal) and an arbour.
The owners, who live next door to the gîte, have a magnificent vegetable garden and numerous fruit trees, an area with chickens, and in winter, sheep graze near the gîte. You’ll be enchanted by the views from the upper floor over the farmlands stretching as far as the eye can see!
Peuton is ideally situated 12 km from Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne, where you can enjoy all kinds of water sports (aquatic centre, water skiing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, electric boats), cycling (with bike hire available at Canotika) to explore the Vélo Francette cycle route along the Mayenne towpath, museum visits, the cinema… The town has been awarded the ‘Fleur d’Or’ label for the quality of its landscaped areas. Well worth a visit.
You can also visit the Robert Tatin Museum, an open-air museum featuring giant statues!
The Rincerie Leisure Centre (24 km) offers a beautiful lake with a beach and a wake park.
All local shops – bakery, butcher, restaurant, mini-market…are 4 km away, in Quelaines.
