Après-Midi

Moment à Lassay-les-Châteaux, cité de caractère aux trois châteaux

Small village of character with granite houses and narrow streets. The remarkably well-preserved fortified castle dominates the town. The fortified castle of Lassay-les-Chatiers will win you over with its strength, its resistance to time and its incredible wealth of heritage. Carefully maintained over the years by its owners, this exceptional castle has withstood all kinds of torments: wars of religion, destruction and invasion. Follow the guide! The guide will show you how a military garrison works and will open the doors of the castle's furnished rooms.
Soothing and impressive, you can also enjoy a walk in the park on the banks of the small lake next to the castle. When the weather is fine, the castle can be kept busy with entertainment. A team of enthusiasts will be on hand to provide you with out-of-the-ordinary sensations, thanks to the zip-line installed in the courtyard of the castle and the historical re-enactments of three historical poques.

But Lassay-les-Châteaux is also home to the château du Bois Thibault and the château du Bois-Frou. Unfortunately, these two châteaux are in ruins today; you will be able to access them by a pédestre path.
