From the church of Villepail, with no less than 89% dirt tracks, follow the route. It follows the old Roman road that used to lead to Guacute; St-Léonard à Mayenne. Also in the Mont des Avaloirs region, don't miss the Egoutelles tower, a magnificent regional monument. Spread over two hectares, this site is in a former Armorican sandstone quarry and is teeming with rare and remarkably rich flora and fauna. Recognised as a natural area of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest, rare plant species, including carnivores, have been recorded here. As you follow the route, you will have the opportunity to discover the corniche de Pail and a short tour will allow you to admire the Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours. You will finish this hike with a route that ends with a pretty sunken path and a final côte that suddenly opens out onto the village of Villepail.
