Après-midi

Initiate and pêche in total tranquility;

Enjoy an afternoon pêche with friends or family on the banks of the Mayenne's many étangs.

The new "No-Kill" fishing method, also known as "Catch and Release", is a new practice that is very much in vogue in Mayenne as a way of respecting nature and fishing ethically and responsibly. Quite simply, it's all about systematically reloading your plug. The aim is to find a method of hunting that leaves the animal alive and avoids injury as much as possible. The Mayenne region has more than 2,650km of first- and second-category lakes and rivers that are accessible for fishing. These include 8 "No-Kill" parks. You'll be able to fish for trout, roach, black bass, pike, zander and eel.

Family

As a family, the La Chesnaie leisure centre allows you to combine fishing, family activities while enjoying the beach.

With friends, the holiday and pêche village of Villiers-Charlemagne is perfect for taking in the apéro while watching its canes à pêche.

Early in the morning, you'll set off to explore the rolling paths of the Coëvrons. During the walk, Marie will first show you how to identify and collect plants properly. She will then explain their benefits, potential and uses.

Then it's your turn! Put together your own basket by picking, gathering and smelling! Once your basket is full, head to Marie's kitchen. Using the plants you picked in the morning, you'll prepare healthy, tasty dishes that you'll enjoy for lunch.
