Evelyne and Lucien will tell you all about the Mayenne and guide you through all the treasures this region has to offer: small restaurants, local producers (llama wool, meat, vegetables, etc.).
You can also take advantage of the restaurant Les Copains d'abord nearby and a tearoom just a stone's throw away.
If you have horses, you can put them out in the 2.5ha fenced field, which has 3 paddocks.
If you have bikes, you can leave them in a closed garage.
By bike, you are 20 minutes from the town of Château-Gontier (8km) by the towpath, so you can enjoy the Refuge de l'Arche (wildlife park), the marina and harbour office Canotika (bike hire, boats...), aquatic complex, museum and theatre (scène nationale Le Carré). The town also offers a full range of shops and restaurants.
If you are a large group, other accommodation is available at the Neuville lock: Le Moulin de Neuville (sleeps 10) H53G019721. There is also the possibility of bed and breakfast on the other side of the river, at the Chambres d'hôtes du Parc (up to 4 people) H53H010699: you will be taken there by a small boat.

Accès par le séjour à la terrasse privative en bois d'un côté (non close), et de l'autre au jardin clos avec parking donnant sur la Mayenne. Barbecue charbon. Remise pour les vélos ou des motos. Terrain de 2.5ha pour les chevaux.
Bébé : lit parapluie, chaise haute, matelas à langer.
Options :
Ménage 50€ pour séjour de 1 à 14 nuitées (obligatoire pour les professionnels).
Draps en option 10€ la paire/séjour, linge de toilette en option: 10€/pers/séjour.
Chauffage : 7€/nuitée en provision de charges (du 15/10 au 15/4), bilan à la fin du séjour par relevé de compteur avec le propriétaire. Si dépassement : régler directement au propriétaire.

Séjour week-end : du vendredi 17h au dimanche 17h.
Séjour de 3 à 7 nuits : arrivée 17h le 1er soir, départ 10h le dernier matin.
