In the heart of the Alpes Mancelles, the Moulin gîte welcomes you to an exceptional natural setting. To get there, leave the road and follow the Sarthon, a charming river flowing into the Sarthe, for 200 metres.
An ideal place to recharge your batteries, in the peace and quiet of the countryside. Nearby, explore Mont des Avaloirs and the Normandie-Maine Regional Nature Park. You're at the crossroads of the Mayenne, Sarthe and Orne rivers, in a remarkable setting.
The Domaine de Trotté, a municipal site open to the public, offers direct access to a number of hiking trails. The village of Saint-Pierre-des-Nids, 4 km away, has all the shops you need.
Leisure facilities include a leisure centre and canoeing centre at Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei (just over 1 km away), and outdoor activities at Saint-Léonard-des-Bois (accrobranche, etc.). Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei is listed as one of France's Most Beautiful Villages.
Fishing is possible in the Sarthon (1st category river, fishing licence required).
