Le Pré Bellanger offers peaceful accommodation in the countryside, close to a number of places to visit in the Coëvrons and southern Mayenne, as well as a variety of hiking trails. La Bazouge de Chéméré is a pretty village with a restaurant and grocery shop, Le Ptit comptoir, with a bread depot. Takeaway meals available to order. The lake is ideal for fishing (with a federal fishing licence) and picnics, and there are also children's play areas. The gîte is 800 metres from the village.
