Le Chaussis is a large house with 5 bedrooms, full of charm, completely renovated in 2022, situated in the heart of a hectare of wooded parkland, adjacent to a private lake of 7,000m² regularly stocked with tench, roach, carp and pike. Ideal for getting together with family or friends. Fishing friends, you're welcome!
You'll love the wooded grounds and the south-facing terrace overlooking the pond. To keep you busy, there are plenty of games to share with adults and children: petanque pitch - badminton - children's swing - shuffleboard - mölkky... and of course all the furniture you need to relax and eat outside: garden furniture - sun loungers - barbecue.
Shops: all shops in the centre of Aron, 1.5km away. Mayenne town centre is 5km away.
Numerous walks in the surrounding area. Access to the Mayenne towpath, the Vélo Francette (Normandy to La Rochelle) 5km away.
May'N Loisirs water leisure centre at La Haie-Traversaine, 10km: Wibit inflatable water course, paddle, giant paddle, single-seater kayak and family kayak, pedalos, water pool, beach and swimming.
Close to Jublains (Gallo-Roman town), Mayenne (Château and museum), Ste Suzanne (medieval town and "petite cité de caractère") and the Saulges caves (prehistory museum, climbing), the Aron region is packed with historic sites. Fontaine Daniel (home of Toiles de Mayenne) is not to be missed. All these sites offer a rich programme of events to help you discover the area in a different way, as well as shows and concerts.
The price of the stay includes household linen - towels - beds made on arrival - heating costs (electricity with a threshold of 15 kWh/day) - wood for the stove.
